These ones are 6 x 6 inches in size.. This time I have distressed the trellis to give a wooden look...

ICR CASE1 {CARDS & SCRAPS EXPO} - A SUCCESS STORY!!!

Hello Crafters,

Sorry for the delay in posting about the ICR CASE1 success story!

It is a saga that would hardly find a breather..... AMEN!

PART 2 of CASE1 was announced yesterday on the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM... Find details HERE!!!

Well, to let you know the happenings of CASE 1, which was accomplished on the 6th of MAY, 2012 SUNDAY @ Bangalore, it was an immense success.....

Bangalore Paper Craft Patrons, did ACTUALLY stop in, to appreciate our creations by our ICR CRAFTERS..... And that itself was a moment to live on forever!!!

ICR takes this opportunity to THANK all its supporters who believe & trust ICR with its motives, of taking PAPER CRAFTS a step ahead in INDIA..... :D

The kind of inquiries & orders we have received soon after CASE1{CARDS & SCRAPS EXPO1} is an evidence to the kind of exposure & appreciation our ICR designers have garnered for their projects/products..... YAY!!!

Following up with all the inquiries for classes & workshops, ICR is determined to organize workshops for kids as well as adults during holidays..... AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!

We go live with our first MAKE & TAKE WORKSHOP on the 26th of MAY, Sunday @ Bangalore.....

Thank You all Bangalore based crafters, without whom this was certainly unattainable!!!

The CS is local buy. Most of the PPs are from Echo Park except 1st once which is DCWV... I loved the 1st one as the Background DCWV PP was matching so well with the Itsy Bitsy 3D stickers... The stamped sentiments are from TPC - Playful expressions from Jovita's store.

Corner Bookmarks revisited..!

I have a huge hugeeeee backlog in posting my craft projects... I have decided to clear it off asap... So sharing a set of corner bookmarks that I made last year for my very 1st exhibition... They were a hit... I have left with 2-3 of these... after this, I will share my another set of corner bookmarks that I made especially for the ICR Expo...

Did you noticed the Tattered teddy bookmarks? The background paper is the cover paper of "Especially for you" pattern paper. I made these for Priya Sivaraj's Scrap challenge.. but couldn't post it on time :( Are there any classes for time management???
All the bookmarks have  been made from a mix of craft supplies and brands... if you have any query about any of the bookmark just drop a comment.. would love to answer... :)

Sorry for being such a bad blogger.. Lots of things are happening at the same time.. uff! I will update one by one :D...

Now onto the main topic of this post, My DT project for the new challenge at "For the love of crafting"... Anita has set a recipe challenge for us... Here are the ingredients..

1. Use a Bow-it can be any sort of bow with ribbon, twine or any material of your choice.
2. Use some stamping on your project. It can be any stamping type-either on your back ground or in corners etc. the choice is yours.
3. Use either a sentiment or a flower or both. The sentiment can be stamped or hand written but this is a separate ingredient and does not coincide with the above ingredient.

And here is my take on the challenge... 

Yes... I have designed a set of tags!

There were simple and pretty easy to make.. Here are their individual pics.. 

Supplies Used:

CS: Fabriano brustro (White), colored (Local buy)

Stamps: inkadinkado Humorous Birthday

Ribbons: a Mix of American Crafts and local buy

So start mixing all the ingredients of the recipe.. would love to see what all you can create with it...
